Background

I work with client groups as an instructional designer, but outside of this work, I specialise in facilitating workshops with a focus on using artistic expression in order to express and explore the inner life. In these workshops, participants learn safe, effective and playful ways to understand the interior landscape of memories, emotions, unconscious patterns and the heart's wisdom. Through these practical activities participants can take home useful tools for their ongoing development and self-care.

I have had experience working with artists and have a strong interest in literature, poetry, creative writing, painting, spirituality and education. I believe we are all capable of meeting challenges creatively and acting in a more conscious way in this life.

“We must always be able to dream a little even by day when we are awake; we must be able to give ourselves up to the enjoyment of art, of poetry, or of some other activity that is not concerned wholly with crass reality.”    Rudolf Steiner

St Kilda Counselling and Creative Arts was created in 2007 as a vehicle for sharing my love of the expressive arts. Through the activities listed below I find myself creating ways of sharing and expressing my appreciation for Psychophonetics counselling – a technique based on the depth of Rudolf Steiner’s philosophy. I am currently applying Psychophonetics through art-based workshops, writing activities, personal art and creative design projects.
