Founder of Psychophonetics - Yehuda Tagar
Persephone College of Philophonetics was founded in Adelaide, Australia in 1990 by Yehuda Tagar and in 1992, Yehuda moved to Melbourne and established Persephone College there, where it operated for many years, until it was closed in 2009. In 2002/03, Yehuda moved to South Africa and founded Persephone Institute of Psychophonetics in Cape Town, and in 2007 he also founded Persephone College UK. He currently spends most of his time in the UK teaching and lecturing.
He has practiced and taught extensively in Australia, England, Israel, and South Africa, and lectured internationally since 1991.
