Background

Her philosophy is inspired by the work of Dr Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925) the spiritual scientist and founder of the worldwide movement of Anthroposophy, and by the work of other spiritual/energy psychologists. Her interest as a psychotherapist extends to research into 'vibrational medicine', particularly as it applies to the relationship between illness/wellness and nutrition (biochemical and 'attitudinal').

She is one of the first graduates trained in the anthroposophic-based body-centered artistic psychotherapy of Psychophonetics, which has been the basis for her work as a counsellor and group worker. She has taught holistic counselling in Australia and Singapore.

Linda is the founder and co-director of ‘ARTBEAT Education P/L’

ARTBEAT offers a variety of activities that are all Anthroposophic-based, which aim not only to serve the immediate clients but also aim to make an Anthroposophic approach to education and healing visible and tangible in Canberra and Singapore.

Activities include:

  • Play Groups for children under 6yo.
  • A Certificate course of a developmental and progressive nature via 12 modules
  • Workshops of various kinds (Creative Discipline, Art for the Heart, Introduction to Anthroposophy etc).
  • Psychophonetics counselling for individuals and couples

These activities can be held both at the Artbeat centre (for parents, teachers, counsellors etc) and in workplace settings, such as schools and corporations.

Some of her passions: philosophy, snorkelling, friendship, SE Asia, silence, nature.

Some of her dreams for the future: to learn the tango, to travel more, to develop her pastel drawing, deeper friendships, to spend more time working / playing in Austalia and SE Asia.
