One day workshops: The healing power of creative expression

“We must always be able to dream a little even by day when we are awake; we must be able to give ourselves up to the enjoyment of art, of poetry, or of some other activity that is not concerned wholly with crass reality. Those who can give themselves up in this way form a connection with something that can enliven and invigorate the whole of existence.”
                                                                                                          --Rudolf Steiner

The art of living creatively incorporates an invigorating and enlivening workshop program that includes:

  • Drawing/clay - with Kate Casey & Anne Holland - Saturday April 10
  • Creative writing/poetry - with Kate Casey & Hadas Sorenson - Sunday June 20
  • Watercolour painting - with Kate Casey & Hadas Sorenson - Sat. August 28
  • Reflecting creatively on the journey - with Robin Steele & others - Sat. Nov. 13

As well as learning about technique and materials, participants will be offered the opportunity to focus on the interior landscape of memories, emotions, unconscious patterns and the heart’s wisdom, engage with a sense of beauty, and connect to their deepest resources of creativity and vitality.

Participants have the opportunity to gain skills and techniques that can be applied in their daily life.

No previous experience with the creative arts is required.
